In his current role, Sid manages a worldwide team of marketing professionals having responsibility for product marketing of Xerox’s entry and mid-range office devices, light production business, all office solutions and office competitive marketing programs. He has over 13 years of solid B2B experience driving strategic growth and product/solutions marketing initiatives for Xerox, is results driven and operational and has consistently delivered profitable solutions to drive sales, exceed customer expectations and build a solid corporate brand.
In 2013, Bhattacharya co-led the marketing initiative for the Xerox ConnectKey® platform and coordinated platform and solutions marketing to drive differentiation in a commoditized market with unique digital marketing assets and programs. This was recognized through various external awards from the American Marketing Association and Chief Marketer Inc. In prior roles, he has spent several years in marketing production printing and creating business development tools for production customers and various major accounts.
Bhattacharya joined Xerox in 2000 as a summer intern and has held multiple financial analyst, business development, strategy, marketing and operations management positions.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Calcutta University, attended a summer school program at the London School of Economics (UK), a master’s degree in International Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and a master of business administration majoring in marketing, from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Bhattacharya is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
Sid is an avid follower of cricket (and no, it is not a lame version of baseball!) and tennis, currently resides in Penfield, N.Y. with his wife Urvashi (who also works at Xerox) and two children, Shreya (8 yrs.) and Dhruv (3 yrs.).
