Update: Small Businesses and the Affordable Healthcare Act

As a follow-up to last week’s blog article, “Health Coverage Taking Center Stage for U.S. Small Businesses,” I found additional information regarding the ways in which the federal Affordable Care Act will impact American small businesses.

This piece, courtesy of the Community Catalyst & Georgetown University Health Policy Institute, begins by stating, “Small businesses have a great deal to gain under the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) employer provisions.”

Beyond explaining that statement, the site also provides numerous links to additional articles that promise to help small-business owners–and anyone with questions about the new healthcare law–gain a more solid understanding of the ACA’s intricacies.
