As the Product Marketing Manager for our small-business-class Solid Ink printers and MFPs, I’m part of a larger Xerox group that brings new Solid Ink products to the marketplace. I feel pretty lucky to be a part of such a great team of engineers, sales and marketing folks, and executives passionate about this technology.
From the technology’s beginnings, Solid Ink products have been designed to offer our customers ease-of-use, affordable color printing, and unique environmental benefits. And in those areas we’ve been extremely successful, as validated by the many Solid Ink customers who sing the technology’s praises.
Today we launched a brand-new video, titled “The Story of Solid Ink,” which provides a quick chronology from the early thinking behind the technology’s development up until now, with five Solid Ink devices, from desktop printer to enterprise MFP, available to our customers.
I think it’s a really great story; one that highlights the teamwork and innovation that combine to develop a truly unique technology, and then bring that technology to you – our customers.
